- PARKING LOT
- Parking for cars and buses is provided at the VINDIJA PARKING LOT. Parking for participants is free.
- SWIMMING LENGTHS
- The entire length of the course is marked with a swimming course at the intermediate goals (1500m and 3000m) anchored target boats, the finish at 5000m was located at the starting point. Swimming lengths: 1500m 3000m 5000m You can swim in all swimming styles as well as with the help of all swimming aids: fins, masks, swimming boards, air mattresses,... Add trail map...with explanations!!!
A maximum of 1000 swimmers can register.
The registration fee is €20

- METHOD OF APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION
Until 25.08. applications are possible online at the web address htpps://poreckidelfin.com
or PRO TIME - Professional timing ; online payment is possible with online banking, i.e. with a credit
On the Porec Dolphin Day on Saturday 09.02. Registrations are possible from 07:45 am to 1:30 pm, payment is made only in cash in €, (€20)
When registering, participants receive a starting number, a timing chip and a lunch coupon
When arriving at Valamar Parentino beach, in case of confusion, follow the signposts or contact the info point.
We speak Croatian, Hungarian, English, German, Italian.
- MEDICAL INSURANCE
All swimmers swim at their own risk.
The organizer ensures:
Medical team at the start/finish place
Medical advice to swimmers in case of need at the start/finish point and along the course
Blood pressure measurement before the race / medical staff may prohibit the performance in case of bad blood pressure
Constant control of the rescue service along the route
By signing up for Poreč Dolphin, you accept that if the medical staff decides at any time that you cannot continue swimming due to your health condition, that decision is binding on you.
With your application, you confirm that the organizer is the Sports Association of the City of Poreč, and is not responsible for injuries or health problems caused by poor health, inadequate preparation, or hidden illnesses.
With your registration, you accept/obey the instructions of the medical staff during your stay at Porec Delfin.
In case of difficulty while swimming, stop, seek help if you need it!
- AGE LIMITATIONS
There are no age restrictions, all age categories can participate in the Poreč Marathon.
CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE can only participate if accompanied by an older person (parent, chaperone).
Those under the age of 18 must have their parents' permission to start.
Seniors 70+ are recommended not to swim alone but with an escort.
- START AND SWIMMING TIME
The Poreč dolphin race starts at 9:00 a.m
The last start is at 2 p.m
Swimming is interrupted / Time limit/ from 1500m at 14:45 p.m. - 3000m at 15:30 p.m. - 5000m at 16:30 p.m.,
In case of worsening weather conditions, the organizer can stop swimming before the end of the time allotted for the marathon.
PARTICIPATING SWIMMERS choose the length of the course they will swim.
It is possible to rest on the ship/boat and then continue swimming to the next destination
- WARDROBE / STORAGE, SHOWER, TOILET
The cloakroom tent is located directly next to the check-in point.
You can deposit your belongings in the cloakroom after registering and receiving your start number
The cloakroom is open from 07:45 to 17:00
Public showers are located on the beach
Toilets are located directly behind the cloakroom
- TIME MEASUREMENT
Time measurement is done by the professional company Pro time.
Upon registration, participants receive a start number and a chip wristband for timing.
The chip bracelet is returned at the end of the swim.
At the end of the swim, the time will be visible immediately online.
- SAFETY ON THE TRACK
The course is marked with a swimming line along its entire length.
Every approx. 250 m there is a boat for rest.
At 1500m and 3000m there are finish lines where you can rest and refresh yourself with water and grape sugar - glucose.
The rescue team constantly patrols the trail.
There is a medical team at the start/finish of 5000m.
Before the start, it is possible to check the pressure, if necessary, medical help and advice.
