The 23rd Poreč Dolphin 2024; will be held on August 31, 2024 starts from 06:15 h . In case of bad weather, the start can be postponed for 3 hours from the planned start time or delayed by 24 hours.

• The start is continuous from 08:30 to 14:00.
• Start from Valamar Parentino Beach.
• The course closes for all routes at 16:30!
• Swimming ends at:
  • 14:45 for 1500m
  • 15:30 for 3000m
  • 16:30 for 5000m
• All swimming styles are allowed, as well as the use of swimming aids: fins, masks, kickboards, air mattresses...
• Resting on a boat is possible, and then continuing to swim to the next goal (a rest boat is available every 250m).
• At 1500m and 3000m, there are finish boats where you can rest and refresh with water and grape sugar - glucose.
• A constant patrol of the rescue service is organized along the course!
• There are no age restrictions.
• All swimmers swim at their own risk.
• CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS can participate only with the accompaniment of an older person (parent, guardian).
• Participants under 18 must have parental permission to start.
• It is recommended that older persons 70+ do not swim alone but with an accompaniment.
• If you encounter difficulties during swimming, stop and seek help if needed!
• Participants receive a starting number and a chip wristband for time measurement upon registration.
• The chip wristband must be returned after swimming.
• Time measurement is performed by the professional company Pro Time.
• After swimming, the time will be immediately visible online.
• In case of worsening weather conditions, the organizer may stop the swimming before the scheduled marathon time ends.

• Early registration fee is €20 - until 30.06.
• Late registration fee is €25 - from 01.07.
• The registration fee includes:
  • Medal
  • Fruit, sugar, and water during and after the race
  • Hot meal
  • Secured swimming course along the entire length
  • Transport by speedboat from the finish points (at 1500m and 3000m)
  • Time measurement - chip timing
  • Blood pressure measurement / medical assistance
• Upon registration, participants receive a start number, a chip for time measurement, and a lunch coupon.
• The chip wristband must be returned after swimming at the same place where it was collected.
• After swimming, the time will be immediately visible online.
• Registration is possible online until 25.08 at the web address https://poreckidelfin.com or at PRO TIME - Professional timing; online payment available.
• On the day of the marathon, Saturday 31.08, registration is possible from 07:00 AM to 13:30 PM at the registration desk - payment is cash only (€25).
